UNAUTHORIZED TASKS
In accordance with current legislation, certain tasks cannot be performed under the service vouchers scheme.
Here is a non-exhaustive list of activities that our cleaners and home help workers are not authorized to perform:
- Cleaning of common areas of a building (e.g.: building hall, shared stairs)
- Cleaning of professional areas of a home (e.g.: medical office, office, waiting room)
- Cleaning of a rented studio/room (e.g.: student accommodation, guest room)
- Outdoor cleaning in difficult weather conditions (rain, snow)
- Snow removal
- Gutter cleaning
- Cleaning of construction/renovation debris
- Garage cleaning if it is “detached” from the home
- DIY work or gardening
- Providing body care and/or medical care
- Child care and transportation
- Purchases of items that do not meet the definition of daily needs
- Cleaning of all types of vehicles
- Pet care and maintenance
